Ashley Rifkin, Of Counsel, comes to the firm with a wealth of experience from her tenure as a partner at a San Diego-based firm where she managed a complex litigation practice involving violations of securities, consumer and antitrust law.
For over a decade, Ashley has worked to deter corporate wrongdoing and to help her clients protect their investments. That work continues at Dixon Williams where Ashley focuses on estate planning, small-business formation and advice, and business and consumer litigation.
Ashley received her Juris Doctor in 2006 from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and graduated summa cum laude, second in her class. While in law school, Ashley was chief articles editor and notes editor of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and vice president of operations of the Tax Society. Ashley graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is licensed to practice law in the State of California, and has been admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, the District of Colorado, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits.
Ashley was named a Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2015-2016, and 2019-2020, and was listed on the "Best Young Attorneys in San Diego County" list by The Daily Transcript in 2011.
